An introductory training for families just beginning their journey with CARD. This training provides families an overview of services currently available through the UF JAX CARD program. Our program serves individuals across their lifespan with autism spectrum disorders, dual sensory impairment, or a sensory impairment combined with another disabling condition. This training also provides an opportunity for Q&A at the end of our presentation. It is important that you bring with you copies of all previous evaluations performed by the schools, psychologists, early intervention programs, and any other previous evaluations/reports that you feel would be helpful to us when working with you or your child. Please be sure that one of these evaluations clearly notates the individuals diagnosis. If the individual with autism spectrum disorders, dual-sensory impairments and related disabilities has an IEP or 504 plan please bring a copy of that with you as well for their file. We look forward to meeting with you. In the meantime, if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us. This training is for Adults Only. Please do not bring children to the training.
